Hospital referrals and hospital-initiated test results

Due to the pressures the NHS is facing, waiting times for hospital appointments are much longer than usual. It is also taking longer to receive tests results for tests ordered by hospital doctors.

Please contact the relevant hospital and ask for the relevant department’s administrative team (for example, if you are seeing a Cardiologist at the hospital, ask for the Cardiology Secretaries) via the main switchboard if you want to an update on when your appointment might be and waiting times, and for test results for tests arranged by the hospital team.
